Quiet day

Quiet day today we go tommorow to Sydney so today we relaxed and enjoyed the huge hotel complex after first seeing ularu by sunrise it was a lot warmer today so it was nice. Cat has taken many photos with a professional camera so most times i leave it up to her. I am looking forward to Sydney. Last night we went from the tents we were in to proper rooms with showers and heat you can take for granted. But that was so nice. Wendy how are the dogs fish and plants? It is gorgeous here now and cat is lying in the grass outside reading as i write this. Tonight we are going to an aussie bbq. We were given park enterance tickets by fellow travellers that saved us some cash.I will write more tommorow. love trish

All is well here. Three people have come by the house to talk with you. I’ve forgotten all their names. One was a man and I think he said his name was Bruce. He is a book keeper and at one time did Subway books and is now doing Telus. He has a job prospect for you and will get back to you.

A woman phoned who still wants to do an article about Dad and the dogs. She will phone you the Wednesday you get back.

The SPCA lady came over and she is going to get an estimate for the dental work for both dogs. She will get back to me soon and I will take them to the vet if it works out. I suggested doing this because I have car.

The dogs are great except the little one, Brandy, is peeing on the carpet lots. Even though I put her outside before she goes to bed. She is a sweetheart though. And I will try putting newspaper down so maybe she will go on that instead.

Today I am making lasagna for you and will probably make a pan for Judy too. I will divide yours up into packages and freeze them. Today is going to be cooler outside. It has been hot. Fish and plants arebored but fine.

Can’t wait to see your pictures, when you get home.
    Love Wendy

Ularu sounds like a really interesting place. Tomorrow you are on to Sydney. Will you be sorry to leave? It has been extremely hot around here for the last few days but is now starting to cool down. I am very glad. I thought I was melting. Makes it kind of hard to sleep. I imagine proper rooms with showers and heat can be very welcome. Indoor plumbing is a great invention too. What have you got planned for Sydney? The only thing I know about Sydney is that it is a big city and has an opera house. I noticed that you asked Wendy about the dogs and the fish. I didn’t know you had fish. What kind of fish do you have? Anyway, not much new here. I hope you are enjoying yourself and look forward to seeing your next post. Talk to you later.

  3. Ularu was great but the room in Sydney has its own rewards like a toilet in the room. very good not having to go outside to another room. You knew of the fish in my office behind my desk. You fed t hem but i see they made an impression on you lol. The room has an amzing view of what makes sydney Sydney and I am sure Cat will be taking 1000000000 pictures which we will post all. We have also been talking to other tourists that have exchanged emails so be careful when you ask for photos…..it could be alot of them….but i love the place and hanging out with my buddy Cat is a treat worth all the money…love trish

Sounds like all is going well, The Columbus hotel burned down today. Weather is cooling off and I think I will make it. We had a six hour blackout yesterday. Enjoy your holiday, looking forward to the pictures.
