Daintree rainforest

Yesterday was amazing we rented a car and went up to the rainforest known as the Daintree. The sights were neat a lot like the Charlottes or vanvouver island but with different animals and plants. It was nice because we drove ourselves. So went unique places and got different pictures. Off the beaten track kinda. Mom would have been at home. I wrote her name in the sand to show she has been there. Cat got a picture of it. I was very glad she did but she has been taking pics of alot of things lol. We misjudged the time so missed some tours but oh well did our own cool things. We had some home made ice cream that was the best i have ever had. With fruit from the area picked that day. There was a sample of 4 flavours mango, macadamia piannapple and rasberry a scoop of each…amazing.. Then we had dinner back at port douglas at a place called the court house hotel. Very good. Huge steaks. We ate listening to outdoor musicians that played a lot of james taylor. One musicans reminded Cat of her friend Loc Cameron. We made it back to the hotel about 10 and today we are off to ayers…the big rock and a sounds of silence dinner. I will write about that to…love trish

The rainforest sounds really interesting. I can’t wait to see your pictures. It would be great to be able to drive yourselves around so that you can see what you want to see and stay where you want to stay. With scheduled excursions you have to keep to someone else’s time schedule. That icecream sounds delicious too. That could be because it has been really hot around here for the last couple of days. It is supposed to be hot again tomorrow and then cool off a bit. I thought that Ayers Rock was quite a distance away. Will you be able to get there and see the Rock tomorrow? Things here are fine. We had a good night at Dave and Norine’s for his birthday. He appreciated the email that you sent him. Tomorrow they are leaving for their holidays. It seems like everyone is travelling lately. Tis the season I guess. Have you been meeting a lot of people from other places or mostly people from Australia? It sounds like you are having a great time. How is your sunburn? Are you feet better? Hope so. Time for me to get some chores done. Not all of us can go galavanting around the outback. Guess you’ll have to do it. Talk to you later.

    Hello from PG
I am using the computer at the library. Tried all the things you mentioned to try and get your computer towork but nothing did the trick. Even when I pushed the large beige button in the front and waited all day, no light came on. Hopefully, you will know what’s wrong when you get back.

The library computers are free to use and it is nice and cool. I just got back from a swim and buying dad a new phone. The one in the kitchen was emitting a shriek that even dad could hear.

What a great vacation you are having and everyone is so happy for you. How much longer are you and Cat going to be together?

I print your comments off for dad so he can read them too!
    Cheers,
    Wendy

  3. cat and i are together another week. That is great. Check the power cord in the back of the computer as often that comes out, remember you want the 2nd bottom computer. I am willing to bet that is it. I am not worried but like i said that often happens…love trish
